sandhan valley trek on 8th and 9th dec 2013
Hi guys i am going to share one of trek i did with my two best friend omkar and aniket. i love trekking and because i live in pune i am lucky enough to do this thing . its because pune is surrounded by lots of mountains ,and rough terrain.
ok ,the trek we did is sandhan valley(19.513906,73.686418) ,located about 190 kms from pune, near bhandardara dam.its very remote area ,only few mobile network will work over there(like idea and uninor) ,i use docomo ,which unfortunately didn't worked.
so we were actually group of 40 people,reached over there by bus at morning on8th dec 2013 .
bhandardara damp backwater ,also you could see kalsubai mountain (highest peak in maharashtra)in picture.
we started walking at 9 am. In about one hour we reached at the valley .the valley is too long and to high.

harishchandragad trek on 1st june 2014
Harishchandragad is a fort situated on the borders of pune, nashik and nagar district. the fort is too huge, you cant really visit it in one day trek .i advise you to make stay on fort. There is temple on the fort. but be careful because there are lots of mouse in temple these days .
It took 4 hours for us to climb Harishchandragad. as we started it early in the morning ,it was not so much exhausting for us.so we reached the temple at 10 am in the morning. the temple is so many year older .people believe that Changdev Maharaj used to live here.
